This Saturday there will be a trip to Bath! We hope that all students will want to come along – Teacher John will be meeting everyone at 9am on Saturday morning (14th April) at Portsmouth Harbour train station. Tickets will cost £16.50, though this price is only available for groups of four people (usually the price is £32 for a return ticket). Students will be returning around 6pm in Portsmouth, and should remember to bring spending money with them if they want to buy any food or do any shopping. Bath is a very old, beautiful and historic city. John will be taking students on a tour around the town and then to the famous Roman Baths for which the city is named. The entrance fee to the Roman Baths will be around £10, but is well worth a visit and is thought by many people to be one of the biggest tourist attractions in the UK. Look forward to seeing you there!

Student Representative
July 12th, 2010After more than a week of campaigning, election posters, political debates and speeches, we now have a newly elected Student Representative! Congratulations to Abdullah who will now be responsible for conveying the thoughts and feelings of the student body to the faculty. If any student has any ideas, any problems, needs or wishes, Abdullah will be there to help you (along with the rest of the Meridian School staff, of course). We’d also like to say a big well done to Sultan, who made a great run and made a fantastic candidate, and finally, a big thank you to all the students who got involved and voted for their leader. Your first meeting with your student representative will be at 12.30pm, Tuesday 13th, 2010.
